One of the things that’s become abundantly clear to me since starting Casual to Close is just how little time I have. Maintaining a blog is HARD work. Seriously, kudos to all of the bloggers out there who are able to keep up a full-time blog, especially those who do it as a side-project.
Between full-time clinical work, finishing up my thesis, and writing for The Everygirl (you can read my latest posts here and here), it’s been hard to find the time to write new content (although I do have some new stuff coming up soon, I promise!).
That being said, I really wanted to find a way to continue putting out new content and so I’ve recently taken to what I’m told is called “micro-blogging”. Specifically, I started a series on Instagram (@casualtoclose) called #FriendshipFriday. Every Friday, I post information, tips, and advice about making the most of our friendships. There is a lot out there when it comes to dating advice, but much less about how to manage the difficult situations that come up in our friendships and be the best friend that we can be!
Head on over to @casualtoclose on Instagram to read more. I’ve also been known to post about wellness, mental health, and my love of coffee, to-do lists, and travel…
